How to identify if the bandwidth between the source and target cores cannot accommodate the transfer of stored recovery points, and validate when is a good idea to use a seed drive or increase the bandwidth.

Note: With Global Deduplication, the Rapid Recovery Replication process is self-optimizing with a unique Read-Match-Write (RMW) algorithm that is tightly coupled with deduplication. With RMW replication the source and target replication service matches keys before transferring data and then replicates only the compressed- encrypted- deduplicated data across the WAN resulting in a 10x reduction in bandwidth requirements.
When preparing for replication, consider the following factors:
2- Based on step 6 on the above user guide select Summary report.
3- From the Date Range drop-down menu, select 31 days.
4- Based on step 8, from the Protected Machines drop-down menu, select the machine or machines for which Replication is configured. By default, this set of information includes jobs for all machines—every protected machine, replicated machine and recovery point-only machine in the specified Cores. For the purpose of this article we only need to select the machines that are configured on the Outbound Replication job.
5- After the report criteria is set to pull the change rate for the replicated machines, do one of the following:
a) Use the option to view the generated report online.
b) Use the Reports menu to select an export format (including the default format, PDF) and click [Export] to export the report.
6- Then, add up the values for the average change rate per day(GB) on all of the agents listed on the report.
7- Next, take that value and divide it by 24, [Total Change Rate per day (GB) / 24] in order to calculate the change rate per hour, write down the result.
10- Compare the upload speed available on the source core with the below table and the download speed of the target core in order to validate if the current bandwidth is sufficient for the change rate value calculated on step 7.
