Failed to find partition for lvm 'vg_root' errors during each metadata gathering in apprecovery.log -
Cause
Rapid Recovery agent obtains metadata from lvm backup files in /etc/lvm/backup directory. lvm backup files in this directory is already outdated and contains already deleted pv/vg/lv -
Resolution
1. Take a backup of all the files in /etc/lvm/backup
2. Delete all the files in /etc/lvm/backup
3. Restart the Rapid Recovery agent. During the next metadata gathering, the new lvm updated backup files will be recreated. The errors should not occur anymore.
