A protection schedule defines when backups are transferred from protected agent machines to the Rapid Recovery Core.
Protection schedules are initially set when a machine is protected by the Core. During that time you have the option to select Default protection (hourly snapshots of all volume), or Custom protection.
Custom protection in the Protection Wizard has limited options:
After a machine is protected you can modify its protection schedule by re-protecting the machine or modify the protection schedule on the Summary tab of the Agent.

CAUTION:If applying a protection schedule to an operating system volume, always include the boot volumes in that schedule (SRP or EFI with Recovery partitions), or when trying to restore the operating system, it will not boot.
