To resolve the issue:
Open regedit and change the following values:
Change the 8006 to a port that isn't in use. Agent service default ports are 8006, 8007, 8009, 8010.
To test if a port is in use or not, open an administrator command prompt, and run the following command:
netstat -aon | find "8006"
Replace 8006 with any port you'd like, to see if it's in use. If the command returns the command prompt with nothing else, then the port is not in use. If it returns a line that has an ip address and port and says listening or established. then that port is in use and try another port.
Then protect the machine with the new port that you changed in the registry.
