During installation EVnearSync Core will create firewall rules on the local host to allow communication between EVnearSync agents, and the Core. These ports may also need to be opened on a proxy or firewall between the machines in the network environment, this article describes those ports.
The following ports are used for communication within EVnearSync:
|Agents||Core||4343 (HTTP)||Communication between the agent and the core.|
|Core||Administrator/Operator||80||Communication between the Operator/Administrator and the web interface/Core.|
|Agents||Remote storage||TCP 445 (CIFS)||To be able to read and write data being replicated.|
|Agents||SQL Server||TCP 1433||Communication from Agent to both EV SQL and EVnearSync SQL Databases.|
|Core||SQL Server||TCP 1433||Communication from Core to both EV SQL and EVnearSync SQL Databases.|
