I am upgrading our Stat dev environment from 5.5.2 to 5.6.2. We are going to Windows Server 2008 at the same time. I successfully ran the two scripts to upgrade the database to 5.6.0. Instructions say to install the Stat Client to run PeopleSoft Object Mover Instructions. I have tried running the install from the autorun installer as well as going into the stat_windows_client folder and running it from there. I have also run it as administrator and tried changing the compatibility. It will not install. I get a popup that says "Error 1719. Windows Installer service could not be accessed. Contact your support personnel to verify that it is properly registered and enabled.
The value was incorrect in the registry entry

Method 1 is to change the Windows Registry to correct the location of the file Msiexec.exe.
