Occasionally problems can occur where the library or tape drives go offline and a full reboot of all hardware will be required.
When this happens, try power cycling the NVBU Server and tape library using the steps below:
NOTE: Do not proceed to the next step until the previous step has fully completed
-- Stop the NetVault Service on your NVBU Server
-- Power DOWN the Server that the library is attached to
-- Power DOWN the library and wait for a couple of minutes
--Reseat the cables between library and NetVault server
-- Power UP the library and wait until ALL front panel indicators show the library as 100% up before proceeding to the next step
-- Power UP the Server the library is attached to
-- Start up the NetVault Service on your NVBU Server
