Following upgrade to NVBU 11.1, all multi-volume NDMP jobs fail with:
Failed to submit job NDMP_LVL_4 /PX6_VOL: Job 'NDMP_LVL_4 /PX6_VOL' already exists. Please provide a different job name
Error scheduling backups
NDMP jobs that backup only 1 volume complete successfully.
Causa

This issue has been raised in Bug 32102 and is due to a new scheduler change introduced in 11.1.
Since NV11.1 plugins that produce non-scheduled jobs such as Oracle, SAP, Informix, NDMP, can no longer have duplicate job names.
Resolução

WORKAROUND:
On the NVBU server edit the ..NetVault Backup/config/allowdupjobname.cfg file which will contain this section:
[plugins to allow duplicate job name]
plugins = Plug-in for Oracle
Simply add the NDMP Plugin to the list, or the affected plug-in to the list of plugins allowed to have duplicate job names, so it should read :
[plugins to allow duplicate job name]
plugins = Plug-in for Oracle, NDMP Client
Save the file and whenever possible restart NetVault to ensure the changes are applied for the scheduler.
We can now run the failing jobs and confirm they complete successfully.
