What version of Spotlight on Oracle supports Oracle 8 (8.1.7.4)?
Spotlight on Oracle version 6.0 no longer supports Oracle 8, but you can use version 5.0.1 which is the previous version, and the last version of Spotlight that supports Oracle 8. You can download it from supportlink:
1) Go to http://support.quest.com/ and login.
2) Click on "Downloads & Updates"
3) Type "Spotlight on Oracle" for the product and click "Go".
4) Under "Products", click on 5.0.1 for the version.
5) Click on the link "Spotlight on Oracle Version v5.0.1 Client Installer" to download the product.
