When performing a Data Compare of two Excel files connected in the Navigation Manager, the comparison captures the number of rows in each Excel to compare against.
After saving the compare and then running the compare again with an updated version of one of the Excel files where additional rows are included, the new comparison will only compare again the original Excel range from the saved compare.
I.E. The original compare rows 1-200, the subsequent still compares rows 1-200, even though it should compare rows 1-210 with the updated Excel file.
WORKAROUND:
Manually enter in the necessary rows to compare for the Excel Files in the saved Compare file (.DCP) or create a new comparison of the new files to compare.
STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Toad Data Point.
