How timeout works with CMN Mail Connector?
CMN have the list of Inbound and Outbound servers. If the outbound server does not respond after 20 seconds, CMN moves on to the next on the list. Therefore, the timeout is 30 seconds.
CMN does NOT remember that the first server timed out; so when CMN comes back to it, there will be a timeout. For example if there are 5 servers listed and one is not responding, every 5th message will have a 30 second delay until it attempts to contact the next server on the list.
The timeout is also configurable:
1- Open CMN Mail Connector
2- Go to Advanced Message Settings
3- Find Performance Tuning | Message Connection Inactivity Time
