ServiceNow incidents do not have the Configuration Item (CI) field populated with the "Host" field from Database alarms or Container alarms.
WORKAROUND
The "Technician Work Notes" field is populated with the "Message and Help" field from the Foglight alarms. If having the host name or instance name included in the "Technician Work Notes" field is helpful then modifying the rule to include the host name or instance name in the alarm message may provide a workaround.
RESOLUTION
Starting with Foglight 5.9.7, the registry variable ServiceNow_Integration_Need_Add_CI_To_Syn_Incident can be used to control if Foglight creates a Configuration Item (CI) when synchronizing Foglight alarm to ServiceNow incidents; the default value is 'false'.
