You performed a server migration to a new machine, when you attempt to start the service you see the following error:

Or, you see an LDAP error starting "Invalid Credentials"
You also see odd looking characters in the Mailbox configuration, and the AD options configuration.

Causa
Policykey.apk was not copied from the old server
Or
256bit encryption was enabed on the old machine, the Storage directory was copied over and the product was originally installed by default with 128bit encryption.

Resolução
RESOLUTION 1
Recopy the Policykey.apk file from the old server to the new server
RESOLUTION 2
On the old server, unselect 256bit encryption from the Properties of Collaboration services.
Copy the Storage directory to the new server, and ensure 256bit encryption is not enabled in Collaboration Services
Start the Syncronization Service.
