Migrator for Notes to Exchange Product Notification

Return
Critical Alerts

Microsoft has announced that they will deprecate the Remote PowerShell (RPS) Protocol in Exchange Online as of September 30, 2023.

Quest has worked alongside with Microsoft to allow an extension for Quest and its customers until October 16, 2023 However, there is a limited time window to request the extension as the process described under resolution must be completed prior to September 30, 2023.

How does this affect me?

This means that customers who use RPS will not be able to perform any migration tasks using the current version of Migrator for Notes to Exchange (MNE).

If you are currently or planning on using MNE before October 16th, please act immediately by performing the steps outlined under the resolution as soon as possible. Exceptions will not be possible if requested on September 30, 2023 or after.

Workaround:

Customers who need to request an extension for using Remote PowerShell (RPS) Protocol in Exchange Online must do the following:

  1. Provide their TenantID to Quest by opening a support ticket. Get TenantID [Here].
  2. Request an extension using the Microsoft self-service tool. The tool can be accessed [Here].
  3. Continue to use RPS until October 16, 2023.

* This process must be completed before September 30, 2023.

Status

Quest is working diligently to provide a long-term resolution prior to October 16, 2023.

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue may have caused and look forward to assisting you in the future.
