We are excited to announce our most recent updates to KACE Cloud Mobile Device Manager.

April 2022

In our April release, we are introducing the following features, and a number of resolved issues.

New feature

• Automatically connect Azure AD and KACE Cloud MDM: With KACE Cloud MDM listed as a cloud-based MDM solution in the Azure AD app gallery, you can quickly connect KACE Cloud MDM to your Azure AD subscription. This automated process takes just a few easy steps to get started, and is recommended over the manual procedure.
• Review and manage Microsoft Defender configuration: Microsoft Defender Antivirus is a complex anti-malware security software that protects your managed Windows devices. You can view the details of the MS Defender configuration on each managed device.
  The Defender view available through the device's Security tab indicates if any of the Defender features are enabled, such as the anti-malware service, along with the network, real-time, and tamper protection. It also provides information about the most recent scan, and allows you to initiate one, when needed. The view indicates if the anti-malware definition file is up to date and displays its version number. You can also update the signature file. If the managed device is enrolled in to Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, the Defender view shows whether the device is onboarded to this service, the associated organization ID (tenant name), if the behavior sensor is turned on, and the date and time of the most recent device connection. Details of any threats appear at the bottom of the view.
