KACE Systems Management Appliance (K1000) v8.0
Thank you for your continued support of Quest solutions. This is your advanced notice of actions required before upgrading to v8.0 of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) which will be available later this year. You are being informed now so you can anticipate and plan for the changes well ahead of time. What you will need to do before your v8.0 upgrade:
• Upgrade all v6.4 and older agents
• Upgrade from v6.4 of the SMA (K1000)
• Upgrade from 11G PowerEdge hardware
KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) v 6.4 agents will not be able to connect to the 8.0 version of the SMA (K1000) appliance.
SMA v6.4 will no longer be supported with the release of SMA v8.0.
11g Hardware end of support:
The 11th Generation PowerEdge server platform will no longer be supported with the KACE appliances as of the release of SMA v8.0.
