New Release of K1000 6.4 (English Only)
Available for Download

We are excited to announce a new version of K1000 6.4 (English Only) which is now ready for download.

Look What's New:

  • New User Console home page
  • Improved management of non-computer devices using asset subtypes
  • Software Asset Management improvements including a new license compliance engine and support for managing upgrade/downgrade rights for software titles
  • Mac OS X profile management
  • Integration with Quest Data Protection | Encryption  enabling administrators to view the status of Mac FileVault, Windows BitLocker, and DDP|E volume encryption
  • Integration with Dell Command | Monitor to collect detailed hardware inventory and health status
  • Enhanced Dell Mobility Management (DMM) integration
  • Centralized store for user names and passwords used in schedules
  • Dell warranty information is now imported for Dell Chromebook devices
  • Numerous improvements to the Service Desk including ticket conflict handling, the ability to paste screenshots directly to a ticket, improved email processing, and much more
  • Server Monitoring improvements including a new Log Enablement Package (LEP) installation page and new LEP profiles for MySQL™ and Apache™
  • Upgrade to the FreeBSD operating system to version 10.1
  • Appliance backup improvements including hot backups and improved backup performance

Please note that this release of v6.4 is not localized and therefore customers that require localization will need to remain on v6.3 until we release the planned localization service pack for v6.4 early next year. More details can be found here.
