We are continuing to monitor for Microsoft Windows 10 issues via testing and customer feedback. A hotfix to address any issues is anticipated later this year. In the meantime, below is a list of known issues, which may influence your decision to leverage Quest KACE products for Windows 10 systems.
We will focus updates to address Windows 10 compatibility on v6.3 and v6.4.
* Patching – The K1000 patch engine requires an agent update in order to successfully detect patches on Windows 10 systems
* Single Sign On – SSO is not always working properly when connecting to AD and Samba
* Microsoft Spartan/Edge Browser - ActiveX management action controls are not supported and reporting not working properly on any version of the K1000
We will focus updates to address Windows 10 compatibility on v3.7SP1.
* Windows 10 drivers have been added to service.kace.com, but the K2000 cannot yet see them. As a workaround, you can download the .cab files and put them in the appropriate path directory (windows_10_x86/windows_10_x64) to inject drivers for Windows 10. This will be fixed in either a hotfix or the next release.
