Combination of SQL Server 32bit instance and Windows 64bit OS prevents Performance Analysis (PA)
Description

Performance Analysis for SQL Server (PASS) is not showing the basic SQL counters that are normally shown because the 64bit counters prevent PASS from collecting PDH Counters.
Cause

PA fails to read PDH Counters, it will show 0 (zero) for the appropriate counter (as in PASS GUI Home page Memory metric > cache hit ratio).
