Error when installing PA Collector on Monitored Instance - An internal issue has occurred - Faile (41652)

The Performance Analysis Oracle 6.3 middleware agents have been installed on our Windows Server 2003 Standard x64 SP2 middleware server.

When installing the collector agent on the Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition 32-bit SP2 monitored server, the internal issue has occurred error is displayed

The installer.log file in the PA_Logs folder shows the following

EXCEPTION
Message(SCException): "Failed to execute operation return code = -45 on host <hostname> instance <SID> user quest tns port <port#> "
Message(User): An internal issue has occurred.
Please retry the last operation to continue the installation process.

The incorrect agent installer version was used to install the middleware. The PA_MSSQL_Agent_Installer_6_0_25_0_Win_x86.exe was used to install on the x64-bit middleware server.

Since the middleware host is a x64 bit machine, the PA_MSSQL_Agent_Installer_6_0_24_0_Win_x64.exe should have been used.

There are currently three platform specific agent installers for Windows:

PA_MSSQL_Agent_Installer_6_0_25_0_Win_x86.exe
PA_MSSQL_Agent_Installer_6_0_24_Win_ia64.exe
PA_MSSQL_Agent_Installer_6_0_24_0_Win_x64.exe

Please verify the correct installer version was used based on the OS platform. When installing on Windows Server 2003 x64, be sure to use the PA_MSSQL_Agent_Installer_6_0_24_0_Win_x64.exe.

If an incorrect agent installer version was used, you will need to de-install then re-install using the correct platform specific agent installer.
