We got an issue from Oracle DBA's today saying that Quest process (PA) was blocking the server which makes the server not accessible and also slow downs the performance. Hence they killed some OS process owned by Quest PA.
We dont have any screenshot for this. Please suggest how to approach on this issue.
There is not enough detail to troubleshoot this issue. It would be best to provide more detail regarding which "Quest process (PA) was blocking the server", include details on which OS process were killed, and the exact time or time range when the problem occurred (screenshots are helpful)
Also generate and send a support bundle…
Click Start -> Programs -> Quest Software -> Performance Analysis -> Agent Administration -> Support Utilities -> Connect to the database -> Click Support Bundle -> Generate Support bundle (collector, middleware, and GUI)
May want to upgrade the middleware and collectors to the latest version
