We get the following error connecting with PAO6.5.450 GUI to 6-node RAC
Failed to connect to the Performance Repository, limiting Performance Analysis functionality Details >> Host: <hostname>. Instance: <SID> User: <schemaOwner>
Connecting with Agent Administration - Repository tab shows "Repository database is down"
We can connect with the repository instance via sqlplus so we know it is not down.
Multiple Oracle clients installed on client PC with 8.0.6 client set as default
On client PC, set PATH environment variable to use 10.2.0.1 client rather than 8.0.6
1. Navigate to Control Pannel | System 2. Click Advanced | Environment variables 3. Modifiy the PATH variable found in System Variables, placing the path to 10.2.0.1 bin directory at front of string 4. Try to connect again with PAO GUI
