ERROR: "An internal issue has occurred." -
Description
After I have upgraded the middleware server to PA 6.5 I can not do new collector installations. It always failed with the following error:
-Checking for sufficient MW disk space
-Setting up agent; please wait

+ Please retry the last operation to continue the installation process.
+ If this attempt also fails, please contact Quest Support.

It was no problem to upgrade old collector installations, only the fresh installation failed. -
Cause
Corrupted file global_config.user

Resolution
The problem is a corruption in password written to middleware server
<install dir>/<port>/agents/StealthCollect/6.0/launch_conf/global_config.user
If the file contains lines like this (Note: the hash value can differ):
@(#)internal_sc 5939d5d5ef3e6d9e
@(#)internal_sc_StealthCollect_6.0 3695eb3fed7a0ed011cd525c955a285b
enct_StealthCollect_6.0 true
Then please do the following:
1. Back up the file global_config.user (global_config.user_old )
2. Remove the following lines:
@(#)internal_sc_StealthCollect_6.0 3695eb3fed7a0ed011cd525c955a285b
enct_StealthCollect_6.0 true
3. Restart the collector installation
