I/O analysis in minimal resource consumption installation "can not access field ''waitEvent is cache
Description

No data is under the "Instance view" of "I/O Analysis" tab in History window, all tree items are empty.
I/O analysis - in minimal resource consumption installation: "can not access field ''waitEvent is cached io' as type integer" when hitting on the wait event pie.
Cause

In sites where the load is very high, the sampling rate of one second is the best level that the collector can give.
Resolution

WORKAROUND
Set the sampling rate to 20 and if the resource level the collector is okay.
If it is too high, adjust the value and see what works best by using values including 1,2,5,10, thus seeking the sample rate which gives enough data but uses minimal resources.
STATUS
Defect ID SCO-550 has been logged for this issue to be fixed in an upcoming version of Performance Analysis for Oracle.
