Comparision chart Observed vs Base -

When I execute comparison I have two lines : Observed and Base
I’d like to know if Observed is the time that I run the report and the Base is the time I choose to compare ( like day before , specific time , etc) -
Resolution
When running a compare report, compare parameters will need to be defined. When setting compare parameters, the user would typically start with data from a specific time period (this would be the Observed time range) and is usually a period being reviewed in History. Next, the user would select a time period for comparison against the Observed data; the time period select to compare against the Observed data is the Base.
For example, if the user is in History looking at data from last Monday (4-25-11) and decides to run a compare against the previous Monday (4-18-11), the data from 4-25-11 is the Observed time range and the data from 4-18-11 is the Base time range.
