Collector cannot connect to middleware during installation due to "invalid hostname" -
Description
Both the middleware and collector can resolve hostnames. UDL tests are successful between both hosts and ports are open bidirectionally between both servers.
There is a Collector process is running on the same port with the Middleware and Repository.
The Collector on a different host cannot connect to the Middleware during installation due to "invalid hostname".

Cause
The middleware was installed on using a Single-Tier configuration with a running collector. -
Resolution
Once the single-tier middleware and collector service was uninstalled from the Middleware and the Multi-tier Middleware was reinstalled the Collector on the remote server could connect to the Middleware.
