ODMAD EntraID device migration. Preflight failed. Result code 4
Description

When performing EntraID Cutover process, it fails with the following error in the log:

{"Organization ID":"<OrganizationID>","Deployment Region":"<Region>","Organization Name":"<OrganizationName>","Device Name":"<DeviceName>","Job ID":"<JobID>"} Result code: 4 Invoke-MapPSDrive error: "Could not map network share '<LocalFilePath>\<filename<.PPKG' Unable to map Azure AD Bulk Enrollment Repository."
Cause

Repository path containing filename
Resolution

To resolve the issue:

1. Navigate to ODMAD → Configurations → Repositories.

2. Select the Microsoft Entra Repository.

3. Verify the repository configuration and ensure that it contains only the folder path, not the full file path.

Important:

- The repository must point to a local or network directory only (e.g., C:\Temp\ or \\Server\Share).

- The PPKG file name must NOT be included in the repository path.

- The PPKG file is specified separately within the Microsoft Entra ID Cutover profile configuration.

Incorrect: C:\Temp\ProvisioningPackage.ppkg

Correct: C:\Temp\

After correcting the repository path, re-run the cutover task.
