Chat Discovery – Message Count and Latest Activity Not Collected (4381956)

Due to a Microsoft Graph API issue, the following data points cannot currently be collected during the Chat Discovery task:

• Message Count (< 180 days)
• Latest Activity (< 180 days)

When this occurs, the Chat Discovery task may show the following error:
"User activity report url failed: 'Request failed with NotFound status code (Unknown)'"

This issue only affects the two data points listed above.
Chat migration tasks are not impacted and will continue to run normally.

STATUS

We are actively working with Microsoft to resolve the underlying Graph API issue.
The feature will remain impacted until the API issue is fixed by Microsoft.

WORKAROUND

There is currently no workaround available.
