Need to migrate chats from the same source user who has been previously migrated before to another different target user.
Even after clearing the original user account mapping & then remapping to another different target user in the same old ODM Project, when we migrate this same chat again, such an error will be flagged :
Chats for user 'XXX' have already been archived.
Rearchiving chats during a remigration is not supported.
Although your required chat user account at source is still the same, it is actually being mapped by CSV file to another chat user at target in another brand new ODM Project, hence this new chat user at target should be different from that old chat user at target in your old ODM Project.
Since Mailbox & OneDrive will be migrated in this new account mapping to another different chat user at target, duplication of items should not occur to a different Mailbox & OneDrive at target.
Kindly try out this below workaround to assess if it can serve your remigration needs :
1) Exit your current old ODM Project.
2) Create a brand new ODM Project using your same source & target tenants.
3) Launch this brand new ODM Project, hence do not use back your old ODM Project.
4) Discover by CSV file for this required chat user account at source in ODM Accounts Module.
5) Map by CSV file to another chat user at target, hence this new chat user at target should be different from that old chat user at target in your old ODM Project.
6) Migrate Mailbox & OneDrive to this new chat user at target.
7) Migrate this user's chats in ODM Teams Module.
