ODMAD: How to add user to configure the Password Propagation WebService (4379403)

By default, only the user who installed the Password Propagation Service can manage and configure the Password Propagation Web Service, including specifying the target Active Directory connection settings.

To grant another user permission to manage and configure the Password Propagation Web Service, perform the following steps:

1. Log on to the server hosting the Password Propagation Web Service.
2. Open Computer Management.
3. Navigate to Local Users and Groups > Groups.
4. Locate and open the DSPasswordChangeService group.
5. Click Add and specify the user account(s) that require administrative access to the web service.
6. Click OK to save the changes.

Once added to the DSPasswordChangeService local group, the specified user(s) will be able to authenticate to and manage the Password Propagation Web Service configuration.
