SBC MS Teams Phone and Related Data Migration Not Supported in ODM (4379148)

A customer inquired whether the On Demand Migration tool can be used to migrate SBC configurations and Microsoft Teams Phone data, including call-related items such as:

• Contacts and contact groups

• Call history

• Voicemail

• Device setup

These items are part of Microsoft Teams Phone services and Session Border Controller (SBC) configurations, which are considered outside the scope of collaboration features that On Demand Migration is designed to handle.

On Demand Migration for Teams focuses solely on collaboration-related content. The supported migration scope includes:

• Teams and channels

• Conversations

• Files (via SharePoint)

• OneNote

• Planner tasks

• Group mailboxes

• Team membership

Anything related to Teams Phone or SBC (Session Border Controller) configurations—including call history, contacts, voicemail, and device setup—is not supported for migration by ODM.
