Duplicate or Invalid Environment

• Check for Environment Duplicates:

  • Verify if there are duplicate environments in ODM DirSync or AD Express Portal.

• Delete the Environment:

  • Remove the environment from the ODM DirSync/AD Express Portal UI.
    • If the Environment cannot be deleted from the UI, contact Quest Support for assistance

• Handling the 30-Day Retention Period:

  • Deleting the environment will trigger a 30-day removal request.
    • If urgent, you may need to raise a Support Case to have the environment removed without the wait period

• Reconfigure and Retry Discovery:

  • Once the environment is removed, re-add the environment.
  • Install a new Directory Sync Agent and run discovery again.
  • Check if the issue is resolved.
