ODMSP | Migration of root site not writing to mapped target site but to root. (4377248)

While migrating SharePoint root site to target tenant that has been mapped to a non-root site, a migration will revert the mapped target site to root site and continue with the migration.

Tried to re-map and confirm mapping is updated with ODMSP UI, but the issue persists.

Root site has been mapped and migrated once before the mapping was performed. 

To resolve this issue, perform the following high-level steps:

1. Remove the root site from the ODM SharePoint module
   1. This action removes only the record from ODM and does not affect the source or target SharePoint environment.
2. Run a 'Refresh Project' task
3. Rediscover the root site from file
4. Map the source root site to the required target site
5. Run a migration task and monitor its progress
