To resolve the issue please uninstall and install agent back, specifying correct password for service account.
Please note, that if affected environment is the source domain, its service account may be specified as a SIDHistory account in the target domain.
To verify that, please access the target domain directory sync agent machine, open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest\On Demand Migration For Active Directory\ODMAD_DS
Verify the value of the SIDSource
If it contains the source domain account name, then it should be reinstalled as well. The process is a bit different as there's no way to re-type the SIDHistory account's password:
- uninstall the agent
- open regedit and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Quest\On Demand Migration For Active Directory\ODMAD_DS
- clear SIDSource value
- install the agent back, specifying SIDHistory account's credentials and click on Add Account underneath
