Many Teams and Microsoft 365 Group migration issues result from missing content in the target environment. The steps below may help resolve these issues.
Gather information about the affected Team or Microsoft 365 Group, including the associated SharePoint URLs.
In ODM, go to the SharePoint section and enable the flat view by clearing all filters above the list.
Review the list and remove all SharePoint components linked to the affected Team or Microsoft 365 Group.
Return to ODM and go to Teams or Microsoft 365 Groups, depending on which object type is affected.
Select the object and run Provisioning, choosing the Merge option wherever available.
Verify that Provisioning completes successfully. A warning may appear regarding a mismatch in the number of SharePoint objects. This warning can be safely ignored.
Run the migration again for the affected object.
Note: In some cases, it may be necessary to remove, rediscover, and match the affected Team or Microsoft 365 Group before performing step 4.
