Unable to Update Users in Target with Remote Mailboxes in O365
Description

We need to update users from SOURCE into existing users in TARGET (on-prem AD to on-prem AD). The problem is that the users in TARGET have remote mailboxes in Office 365. When we try to merge we get this in the log:

Cause

This is due to target object being a mailbox.
Resolution

Enable the option to "ALLOW MAILBOX UPDATES" in Template settings under General Options. There will be a warning prompt message about updates being made to the target mail attributes. Please review the mappings for mail attributes and test this with test accounts before applying to production objects.
