Description

We are observing error migrating user created calendar in Exchange Online EXO for a user. We tried migrating but are observing error: Unexpected error. Details:"calendar xyz" (Only SMTP addresses are supported by this matcher Parameter name: sourcePrimarySmtp)(Only SMTP addresses are supported by this matcher Parameter name: sourcePrimarySmtp) Please refer below for recent task details:
Cause

The error occurs during the folder permissions processing. Looks like one of the recipients address in the permissions list is not SMTP, so the validation fails.

Check the "calendar xyz" folder permissions for permissions granted having non-smtp/broken address. Such as in the attached screenshot
Also could be that when you look at the mailbox folder permissions you'll see that some of the users still part of calendar permissions in source tenant have left the company.
Resolution

Remove those users and re-run the migration. Now the calendar ought to be migrated with permissions correctly.
