Currently, with Windows 10 reaching end of life and being added to the Extended Security Updates program, ensure the minimum version and the channel version support the Windows 10 version.
The ODM AD Device Agent installer performs a minimum version check.

Note: Not all versions of Windows 10 Long Term Support versions are supported for Quest Agent applications.

Note: Entra ID Device Join is only supported for Windows 10 and 11.
**Additionally, there are minimum Requirements for the device before the agent can proceed to install on the device.
- Powershell version v2.0 or newer installed.
- .NET Framework 4.7.2 or newer installed.
- * The Device Agent will check that Windows 10 meets the minimum build 10.0.15063 and version 1703.
For Active Directory migrations, while older versions of Windows may support the installation of the Device Agent and be able to have Active Directory administrative actions performed on it. This support is limited, and not all functions may be available to the version of Windows being prepared for cutover. Ensure a backup plan is prepared for any legacy Windows computers to ensure they are prepared to join the new domain.
