When migrating folder permissions using On Demand Migration for Email (ODME) the permissions granted on the folder are not migrated and the following is logged:
Source Mailbox: sharedmailbox@company.com Cannot set folder permission 'user1@company.com': A UserId was not valid.(A UserId was not valid.)
The users that have permissions to folders within the migrated mailbox are required to be listed within the migration plan.
Note: Matching information for source and target users is taken from the current migration plan.
To migrate folder permissions, create one or several separate plans in which will perform the following:
