Yes, a properly configured self-signed certificate can be used to enable SSL when migrating from GroupWise. Note: ODME supports self-signed SSL certificates. For information on generating a properly formatted self-signed SSL certificate, see Using Self-Signed SSL Certificates.
Note: When using self-signed SSL certificates to connect to an email service provider, the "Issued By" and "Subject" fields in the certificate must match the GroupWise server hostname entered into the ODME Source Connection settings.
Note: To enable ODME to use SSL, SSL will also need to be enabled within the GroupWise Trusted API key that is created.
