NetvaultDB backup enters a dead lock when completing phase 1 and is about to start the phase 2 -
Description
If you are planing to write the phase 1 to VTL and phase two to physical tape but select the target tab to write to any device you will have this problem.
If the Advanced Option of the NVDB backup sets to use the Source as only the VTL, then the phase two will be waiting for media if you have only one tape drive.

Resolution
The solution is to edit the backup job and select the phase 1 to write to the VTL and the phase 2 to write to the physical tape.
