Data Copy job fails. -
Description
Data Copy job fails with either of the following messages - (1) "Failed to get Index, cannot duplicate backup" (2) "Media Request Failed: Media request no backup".
Symptoms:
(1) "Failed to get Index, cannot duplicate backup"
This occurs if a tape from the original backup is blanked or overwritten after the selection set for the job was created, but before the job starts.
(2) "Media Request Failed: Media request no backup"
This occurs if a tape from the original backup is blanked or overwritten once the job has started. The error is accompanied by a "Channel Error" and "Child process died unexpectedly" message.
