When running a BRE enabled NDMP backup, it fails in the last phase while building the index.

As described in the NVBU NDMP Application Notes for NetApp found on our website:
A backup job can be resumed only if suitable checkpoints exist for the job.
The checkpoints are set during phase 4 of an NDMP backup and are logged as Background messages in the NVBU Logs.
BRE may fail over filer reboots. Certain circumstances may prevent the filer from correctly continuing a backup restart.
If this occurs, “Node Data Missing for File <Filename>” will be written to the Job Log during the index building stage.
If this message appears in the log, it implies that the restart has failed and the job cannot be resumed.
All information related to backup checkpoints will be lost if the NVBU Server is restarted. BRE will not work over NVBU Server restarts.
When the NetApp filer or the NVBU server have been restarted, make sure BRE is disabled on the next NDMP job. This will allow for the job's successful completion but without restarting from the last checkpoint.
BRE can then be enabled back for later use, once a successful backup has been taken.
