NetVault Media Reports could not be launched after double clicking on them, but other NetVault Reports launched successfully.
Run the following commands to repair the Reports section of the NetVault Database (NVDB) and any issues with Media Manager that the report needed:
1] Make sure that there are no Backup and Restore jobs running and stop the NetVault Services (NetVault Configurator - Services tab).
2] Open up a Command Line window and navigate to the …\NetVault\util directory.
3] Type in “nvmeddbcheck check”.
4] Type in “nvmeddbcheck force” (Perform this twice).
5] Type in “nvmeddbcheck check”.
6] Type in “nvscheddbcheck check” (The scheduler also needs to be repaired, as the reports are a part of the Schedule Database).
7] Type in “nvscheddbcheck compact” (Perform this twice).
8] Type in “nvscheddbcheck check”.
9] Start the NetVault Services again.
All the NetVault Media Reports ran successfully again.
