When using the CLI "nvjoblist" command, this does not show the complete name of Clients, Selection Sets, Backup Name etc... and cuts the name off after 17 characters.
The problem has been already logged as defect ID NVG-4882 (delimiter switch of nvjoblist doesn't work), NVG-1625 (nvjoblist command is not working with -fixedcols option) and NVG-5179 (nvjoblist command doesn't work correctly with -title option when job title name is 17 characters or more).
The work around for this issue is to run a NetVault report like Historic Jobs – By Date and make sure that report output has been changed to either CSV or Text.
Then to make sure that the “Variable Width Output” item is selected within the Component - Output Options tab.
All the names are then shown in the full length and the column is automatically adjusted.
Please make sure that the amended report’s Component AND Report Title have been both given an amended / new title, otherwise that report will be overwritten when NVBU has been upgraded.
The new report can then be saved when a NVDB backup is performed.
