"All segments have expired" error message on tapes just used on a backup in Media Management.
Customer was marking some of the media for re-use that was part of spanned media and not marking all of the spanned media for re-use.
To follow the the "All segments have expired error message" KBA on how to re-use all media that is part of spanned media and to upgrade NetVault environment to the latest version, as the issue was resolved with NVBU 8.5.1.
The Media Manager then resolves the issue in its hourly clean-up cycle.
