Title: Re-started backup fails when backup includes a pre or post script. (4046317)

Create a backup with the "Enable Restartable backup" option selected in the Backup Options tab. Include a pre or post-script in the backup options tab.

Run the backup. After it has run for a while, right click on the job in Job Management and select, "Stop Job." Then right click on it and selelect 'Restart'. The backup will then fail with:

"Child Process died unexpectedly " in the logs.

Leave off the scripts if the job has to be restartable.

Or do not try to re-start backups that have pre or post scripts.

If the script is to launch another job, you can use the, "Event to raise upon job completion" on the Advanced option.

You can also create a 'dummy' file to backup if you just need a prescript to run before the backup and use the "Event to raise upon job completion" to launch the actual job that backs up the data.

This is an open case w/engineering and will be resolved in a future release of NetVault Backup
