NetVault Backup GUI error on Solaris 11 - libXm.so.4: open failed (4046189)

On a fresh installation of Solaris 11 without motif installed, the NetVault Backup GUI will fail to run with an error similar to:

root:/# nvgui
ld.so.1: nvgui: fatal: libXm.so.4: open failed: No such file or directory

Motif is required to run the NetVault GUI

To installthe required motif library package:

• Using the Gnome interface selectSystem->Administration->Package Manager.
• Search formotif.
• Install themotifpackage described asMotif toolkit.

Solaris 11 support was introduced in NetVault Backup 8.6.x. Previous versions cannot support Solaris 11.
