Licensing Errors: How to check Machine ID and Licensing on the NetVault server.
Licensing Errors
To check licensing and usage on the NetVault server: launch the NVGUI, Administration, Domain Management, highlight and right click on the NetVault server under "Controlled Servers", choose properties and select the “System” Tab.
The “System” tab provides the NetVault version and build number, Machine ID, Network Name and IP address.
The “Usage” tab provides what you are licensed for and how much is used of the license.
Both of these tabs can be helpful in addressing licensing issue. When opening a case With Quest/NetVault support concerning licensing. Please provide screen shots of the “System” and “Usage” tabs.
