Bare Metal Recovery Online Backup fails immediately. Looking at the subtext of the error “Process running on 'client-test' has exited unexpectedly” found in binary log we see agent process ID is 'xxxx' called out.
Investigation of the trace file “nvdrwmain-20190702114238-xxxx.log” from the client is required. Where the xxxx on the “nvdrwmain” trace file is the same as process ID called out in the binary log.
In this trace file we should see the reason for the backup failure.
